Combichrist bring their body-pummeling beats and relentless aggression to House of Blues / West Hollywood on Saturday March 7 as part of the Coal Chamber, Filter, American Head Charge North American Tour.

Hints of old school industrial bands like Front Line Assembly, Ministry, and Die Krupps occasionally appear among the squealing feedback, minor-key melodies and mesmerizing rhythms. All of it accompanied by front man Andy LaPlegua who has been known to send the audience into a frenzy.

Combichrist’s latest album, “We Love You”, has been critically acclaimed while their signature adrenaline-drenched live shows have been equally praised.

LaPlegua founded Combichrist in 2003 after playing in several Norwegian hardcore bands, as well as the electronic music of Icon of Coil. He chose to work without a band, doing everything himself in the studio. This enabled him to explore and to combine hardcore and electronic music to create the sound of Combichrist.

Like all previous albums and tours, the fans can expect pure and unadulterated Combichrist. “One of my best friends said it the best, ‘listening to this album sums up everything I know about you and music’,” LaPlegua laughs, “only bigger, more bombastic and even louder!

Combichrist will be hosting pre-show parties on their tour bus for five lucky fans. Food and drinks will be provided along with commemorative souvenirs. Visit their website for more information. www.combichrist.com.
