Extreme Guitar Tour 2015 HOB Anaheim Jan. 22 and HOB Sunset Jan. 23

The Extreme Guitar Tour 2015 will make stops at House of Blues Anaheim on Jan. 22 and House of Blues Sunset on Jan. 23.

The Extreme Guitar Tour features performances by guitar greats Uli Jon Roth (Scorpions), Vinnie Moore (UFO), and Craig Goldy (Dio).

Drumming for Uli Jon Roth will be Kofi Baker, son of Cream drummer Ginger Baker.

Elliot Rubinson, CEO of Dean Guitars will be featured on bass during the performances of all three guitarists.

Joining the tour is the debut of the new band, “Black Knights Rising”, featuring Craig Goldy (guitar), Vinnie Appice (drums), Mark Boals (vocals), Allesandro Bertoni (keyboards) and Elliot Rubinson (bass).

Special guests, Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow, Deep Purple) as well as Canadian rockers, Old James will also be on the bill.

The original concept started in 2008 when producer Andrew Banks paired guitarists of notoriety with Baker to play extended jam versions of Cream songs under the title of Extreme Cream.

Guitarists that have played these shows, often lasting two & a half hours in length, include Mike Keneally, Uli Jon Roth, Gary Hoey, Michael Angelo Batio and Roy Z.

This two plus hour, multi drum kit and layered guitarist approach was perfected in early 2014 and the concept hit the road for five dates along the West Coast of California. These shows featured multiple artists performing on stage together, often with four and five guitarists jamming with dueling drummers.

The fans have spoken and after several months of production, the first national Extreme Guitar Tour 2015 has become a reality.

Dean Guitar and dDrum are sponsoring the tour.
